Need help diagnosing your turbo system? Don't have a means to pressurize your charge pipes to test if your map sensor is functioning properly? MAP sensors cost a fortune, so before you buy one, check yours!
We designed this to accept a boot Gause and air pressure source to full test your MAP sensor. Simply plug in a basic OBD scan tool to monitor the sensor, then pressurize the fitting with the map sensor bolted in and compare the data to what your pressure gauge is reading.
Tested to 30psi. We do not recommend maxing out your OEM sensors using this fitting. A typical MAP sensor test should only require 5-10psi.
Works with most 11mm sensors (measurement does not include the width of the o-ring). It can be used for smaller sensors but using the proper sized o-ring.
Examples of cars/engines with this style sensor: Subaru WRX and STI, current gen GTR's, Smart 453's, Honda K-series, Porche 997, FRS/BRZ, Juke, Sentra SR Turbo, Renault Clio 1.6T...ect.
DO NOT USE WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING! Fitting is not designed to operate around a running engine.
