The lower air deflector on the B17 has always bothered us.
It quite literally collects several quarts of water, debris from the road, and on top of that, it is the most anti-aerodynamic front end component we have ever seen Nissan put on a vehicle...yes, even worse than the front end of a juke.
This panel upgrade does several things;
It smooths out airflow to the radiator and intercooler, which means a more efficient cooling system.
It prevents water and debris from collecting in the stock panel, which can cause bumper sagging from the weight, and long term it can warp the panel.
It also creates a more aesthetically pleasing feature on the vehicle.
These are cut on our in house CNC plasma table out of aluminum. They weigh next to nothing.
