1.8 Sentra peeps! We got you!
Naturally aspirated engines work best when they can breathe! Catalytic converters are a massive restriction that does not allow exhaust gases to escape the combustion chamber quickly or efficiently. Removing even one catalytic converter can help free up a lot of back pressure and in turn allow the engine to breathe better! Gain some mid range and top end torque!***
Due to the location of the oxygen sensor, the heat shielding above the sensor may require slight modification, depending on how much your shielding has sagged.
Will NOT cause a CEL!
Not CA legal.
For Off Road Use Only.
***Due to the lack of a "manual" mode on the CVT, we are unable to get exact power gains. On similar sub 2.0l engines, removing the second cat can result in gains from 3-8 ft lbs of torque.
